„Almost impossible to reach by phone! However, once you're in the office, you quickly realize they actually have the capacity. It's not as big as you might think. Very annoying!“
„I switched to private health insurance last year, and that played a major role in my appointment today. This was my second visit to this dental practice, due to problems with a molar that required a root canal. The first time I was there, they performed a tartar cleaning (without asking me) and told me they could only address my molar issue at a follow-up appointment. That follow-up appointment was several months after the first one. I tried to cancel it the day before because I had a viral infection. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach anyone. I called the practice to reschedule and apologized for missing the last appointment. The receptionist was very helpful and arranged a new appointment for me. While I was sitting in the waiting room, with a direct view of the reception desk, I saw a receptionist come out of the treatment room and asked about the procedures for privately insured patients, specifically which filling materials were used and whether they were the same as for those with public insurance. I already found that odd. When I was sitting in the dental chair, the dentist came in, and the first thing she said was, "You have private insurance, so you have to pay the bill today, you know that, right?" I said I was aware of that. Then she asked if I had cash or my debit card with me. I replied that I had my debit card and would pay the amount. She then briefly looked in my mouth and at my teeth. After that, she said she needed an X-ray to continue the treatment. She pointed out that the X-ray would cost around €50 and asked if I could pay it. Again, I said that was no problem and that we could do the X-ray if it was necessary for further treatment. After the X-ray, I was told to take a seat in the waiting room until it was my turn. To my surprise, I wasn't asked back into the treatment room, but instead to the reception desk, where the dentist told me that my molar needed a root canal and that two other teeth needed different fillings than they currently had. She said I could make a new appointment for that, as she couldn't do it today. When I asked why, since this was my second visit with the same molar problem, she said I was a patient of her daughter and therefore couldn't treat me. I wonder why I had an appointment then, and why Dr. [Name] performed an "examination" and billed me for it? After I expressed my dissatisfaction, the dentist rudely said that they didn't allocate much time for new patients because they didn't know if they would return. I was welcome to make another appointment or, if I didn't want to, switch dentists. I have now done the latter. Nevertheless, I want to address Dr. [Name]'s poor attitude. The point is that they don't consider the importance of taking enough time for new patients so they can build trust in the doctor. I've already taken time off work twice to attend appointments where I received no help whatsoever. Instead, I was charged almost €70 for a mere five-minute treatment and an X-ray that apparently wasn't even necessary afterward. The X-ray could have been taken while the tooth was being treated. It seemed to me like they were just trying to make a quick buck.“
„I have been a patient at this practice for over 18 years and am extremely satisfied. The doctors are highly competent, and the staff is always friendly and courteous. In emergencies, they quickly find an appointment. You can always ask questions and are well-informed about your treatment. If a treatment is needed that cannot be performed at this practice, you are referred to equally competent partners. For fillings, crowns, etc., they carefully check that they fit well and don't cause any discomfort. Remarkably short waiting times. I have been able to recommend this practice without reservation from the very beginning.“
„True, a great dentist. Years ago, he drilled into my molar without anesthesia, right down to the jawbone. I almost went mad with pain. The next day, I went to another dentist. She could only pull the tooth and was horrified by what had been done to me. A short time later, his father came by my office. I know you, you're our patient. "No more," I said, and told him what his son had done to me. He was horrified and wanted to clear it up with him. His father and grandfather were good, but Carsten Hünecke was NOT! If I have a toothache and he's on emergency duty, I'd rather jump off a bridge. Amazing that he's on the board of the chamber. Well, when I read his article, that patients in pain shouldn't enter the office and should contact their dentist, I know what's going on.“
„I went to Dr. Hünecke's emergency dental clinic today. The reception was incredibly warm and friendly. I'm extremely satisfied. A very competent dentist. I highly recommend him.“
